Kindergym

Kindergym is recommended  for ages 3-5, and is the best way to get your child into gymnastics and socialize with other kids in a fun and safe environment. The class focuses both on actual gymnastics skills and life skills your child will need to progress. Often obstacle course are integrated into the class to develop coordination and listening skills.

Accelerated

Accelerated is recommended for students wanting to go to team, but are too old for our pre-team. Accelerated is by evaluation only and needs a coach's approval.

Beginners

Beginners is designed as an "Introductory" to gymnastics. It hits all the basics and foundational skills needed to move up to a higher level class or to simply develop body control and coordination. We have a pretty large age range for our classes, and we almost always recommend starting in Beginners before Intermediate. It's easier on a child to move up, rather than having to move down from a class.

 

Beginners focuses on the following skills 

  • Handstand

  • Cartwheel

  • Roundoff

  • Backwards Rolls

  • Forward Rolls

  • Bridge and Bridge Kickovers

  • Confident Walks on Beam

  • Beam Levers

  • Mount on Beam

  • Handstand Flatback

  • Board Bounces

  • Chin ups

  • Cast on bar

  • Front Support on bars

Ninja

This class is Co-Ed, with students being majority boys. If your child is looking to learn to flip, jump on the mega tramp, perfect their agility - this is the class to do it! 

This class focuses on:

  • Flips

  • Trampoline

  • Beam challenges

  • Obstacle courses

  • and so many more Tricks!

Intermediate

Intermediate is the "next step" in your child's gymnastics journey. IF your child has mastered  every skill needed in beginners, chances are your child's coach is going to recommend moving up. Often, from intermediate the next step is Pre-team or even a team evaluation. 

Intermediate focuses on the following skills

  • Handstand hold

  • Cartwheel

  • Roundoff rebound

  • Backwards roll to pushup

  • Handstand combinations

  • Forward and Backward roll to pushup

  • Tumbling combinations

  • Handsprings 

  • Handstand Flatback/ Handspring over vault

  • Half on vault

  • Chin up Pullover 

  • Cast to Straddle Dismount

  • Handstand on Beam 

  • Cartwheel on Beam

  • Straddle Mount

  • Bridge Kickover

  • Back Walkover

  • Front Walkover

  • Turns on Floor and Beams

  • Leaps

Tumbling

This class focuses only on a single event, Floor, instead of two or four. Focusing first on the fundamentals, and hen progressively moving forward at the students own pace. 

This class focuses on the following skills:

  • Rolls

  • Handstands

  • Cartwheel

  • Round off

  • Front and Back Walkovers

  • Back Bends

  • Handsprings

  •  Combinations
